England Students Women’s Head Coach Andrew Ford has named his 23-player squad to face the UKAF on Friday evening (8 August, kick-off: 6:30pm BST)
It’s set to be a momentous occasion, marking the re-establishment of the Women’s Student programme after 20 years.
The fixture will serve as a warm-up for the Women's International Defence Rugby Competition taking place in England in August, leading up to the Women's Rugby World Cup 2025.
Ford, alongside assistant coaches Poppy Leitch and Amber Reed, have been preparing the squad from across various BUCS institutions in a week long training camp.
The England Students Women’s programme has been generously supported by UKAF and the RFU.
The game is free to attend at the Army Rugby Stadium in Aldershot with doors opening from 5pm and food and beverages available on site.
The game will be live-streamed snd you can follow all the action on the UKAF YouTube Channel and the England Rugby Universities X page @EngRugbyUnis and Instagram account @EnglandRugbyUnis.
